What we use today
The public pages of this site do not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Your language is shown in the address (for example /sw for Swahili), so we do not need a cookie to remember it.
- Strictly necessary: the staff sign-in area, which visitors do not use, sets a session cookie so that our staff stay signed in. It is needed to provide that area securely.
- Local storage: the security check may keep your answers in your own browser while you complete it, so that you do not lose them. It is not sent to us.
If this changes
If we add analytics or any other cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent before it is used, as Kenyan data protection law expects.
Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies does not affect the public pages.
