Security

Endpoint security

Every laptop, phone and server protected, updated and accounted for.

Overview

Endpoints are the devices where work actually happens: laptops, desktops, phones and servers. They are also where most attacks land, because that is where people open email and download files.

We put protection on every device, keep the software up to date and check each week that nothing has fallen behind. We work with Sophos, Kaspersky and Microsoft tools, and we choose the product that suits your devices and your budget.

When a device is lost or stolen, the aim is that it is an inconvenience and never a data-loss event. Encryption and remote controls are how we get there.

What is included

  • Anti-malware and threat detection

Protection that blocks harmful programs and flags suspicious behaviour on each device.

  • Patch management

Operating system and application updates applied on a schedule, with a weekly check for devices that missed them.

  • Disk encryption

Laptop drives encrypted, so that a lost or stolen machine does not expose your data.

  • Device control

Rules about USB drives and unapproved software, where your business needs them.

  • Remote lock and wipe

The ability to lock or erase a lost laptop or phone from a distance.

  • Mobile device management

Basic controls for the phones and tablets that staff use for work.

How the work is delivered

  1. Step 1

    Assess

We count every device, note what it runs and find out which ones are unprotected or out of date.

  2. Step 2

    Design

We choose the protection and the rules that suit your staff and your devices.

  3. Step 3

    Implement

We install and configure the software, remotely where possible, to keep disturbance low.

  4. Step 4

    Monitor

We check device health each week and deal with alerts as they arrive.

What you end up with

  • A complete list of the devices your business depends on
  • Protection and updates on every one of them
  • Encrypted laptops, so a lost machine is not a data breach
  • A way to lock or wipe a device that goes missing
  • A weekly check that nothing has slipped
