Terms of use

Last updated October 15, 2026

These terms apply to your use of christotech.co.ke. By using the site you accept them. Services we provide to clients are covered by a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.

Information on this site

The content is general information about our services and about IT and security. It is not professional, legal or regulatory advice for your situation. We take care to keep it accurate and up to date, but we give no warranty that it is complete or error free. Check the current requirements of any law or standard that applies to you.

No promise of security outcomes

Nobody can guarantee that a business will never suffer a cyber attack or data loss. Descriptions of our services state what we do, not a promise of a result. Any commitment about a service level, price or outcome exists only in a written quote or agreement signed or accepted by us.

Enquiries and quotes

Sending a form does not create a contract. A quote is an offer valid for the period stated on it and subject to the terms in it. We may decline an enquiry.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or its data, or to test its security without our written permission (see our security page for how to report a weakness);
  • send harmful code, flood the site, or use automated tools to copy it in bulk;
  • submit false, abusive or unlawful content in our forms;
  • use the site in any way that breaks the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, 2018 or any other law.

Intellectual property

The text, design, graphics and code of this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright law. You may view the site, and print or share individual pages for your own business use with credit to us. You may not copy, republish or resell the site or substantial parts of it without our written permission. Product names and logos of other companies belong to their owners. Showing them does not mean that they endorse us, and we do not claim to be an official or certified partner of any company unless we say so in writing.

Links to other sites

Our site links to other websites, including our sister company ChristoCloud. These are separate businesses. We are not responsible for their content, services or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Our sister company

ChristoCloud is a sister company of Christotech. The two are separate businesses with separate services, terms and responsibilities. We do not act for ChristoCloud, and ChristoCloud does not act for us.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or from reliance on its content. Where the law does not allow us to exclude liability, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 where it applies.

Availability

We try to keep the site available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. We may change or withdraw parts of it at any time.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. We would like to resolve any complaint by talking first, so please write to us at [email protected]. If we cannot agree, the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may change these terms. The version date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
